Associate Director, Quality Control

Seres Therapeutics is well-positioned to become the first company to bring an approved microbiome drug to patients through our proprietary discovery and design platform. We identify key alterations in the microbiome that are associated with specific diseases, and are designing live bacterial ecologies to act as therapeutics. We are currently conducting multiple clinical trials including a recently started Phase III study.  Seres is a dynamic and well-financed biotechnology company headquartered in Cambridge, MA.

What’s in it for you?
This is a great opportunity for you if you have strong knowledge of the biologics Quality Control and compliance processes and you enjoy being in a
highly visible position supporting the growth and development of the Quality Control team.  In this leadership position, you will collaborate cross-
functionally to ensure timely and compliant QC operation, support the broader CMC functions, and the implementation of the QC infrastructure.
You’ll gain an entirely new skill set working on a novel class of live bacterial Ecobiotic® therapies to treat infectious diseases, inflammatory bowel
disease, and other disease areas such as immuno-oncology and metabolic disease.

How do you know if you’re the right fit?
This is a great opportunity to take your experiences in Quality Control and apply them to a novel product. If you have a creative, yet thoughtful
approach to program development this is a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills. Do you enjoy collaboration without competition? Is
organization your strong point? You would assimilate well into a culture of quality and strong attention to detail and accuracy. You thrive on coaching and educating junior staff and scientists to influence development and solid analytical thinking.

The technical requirements?
Ideally, we are searching for a Microbiologist (or similarly educated) who holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 10-15 years of exceptional
experience preferably with biologics.  Skills in data trending/interpretation, root cause analysis, technical writing and personnel management a must.

Additional experience should include support of regulatory filings, experience with technical transfer and validation desired.
